This series of digital works and oil paintings was first developed for the CODE+MATTER exhibition in Paris in October 2025, and presented in a solo show at Art Basel in June 2026. The works originate from more than a year of research combining algorithmic textures, shapes, and photographic layers, merged through a generative process into imaginary, abstract landscapes.
Each painting begins as an algorithm — a system capable of producing an infinite range of compositions — before being realised by hand in oil on canvas. The result sits at the threshold between code and matter: landscapes that could exist, rendered in a medium that insists on their presence.
